AESP Canada Communications Lead

As the Communications Lead for AESP Canada, Heather supports Canada’s community of energy professionals by making complex ideas clear and accessible. An Environmental Professional (EP®) with more than a decade of cross‑sector experience, Heather coordinates communication efforts with AESP HQ and Canada, helping grow an engaged member base and keeping audiences connected to the issues shaping Canada’s energy sector.

AESP Canada Member Relations Lead

Khadija is a seasoned administrative professional with over 20 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, corporate governance, and operations. Holding the CAE (Certified Association Executive) and ChPC (Chartered Professional Coach) designations, she brings a strong foundation in non-profit organizational excellence and association leadership.

In her role as Member Relations Lead, she is dedicated to creating meaningful connections, fostering member belonging, and driving engagement initiatives that deliver real value to the AESP Canada community.

AESP Canada Association Director

Raquel is an impact-oriented executive with over 20 years of experience advancing community-driven solutions across complex, multi-jurisdictional environments. Recognized for her leadership, she delivers programs that measurably improve lives and close the gap between intent and action.

Raquel will provide day-to-day leadership and coordination of AESP Canada’s activities including serving as the liaison with AESP HQ. Raquel will advance key start-up priorities and operational objectives as well as support partnership development to position AESP Canada appropriately within the community.

Jen is AESP North America’s fearless leader. She is a LEED accredited professional whose passion lies in integrating clean energy and efficiency technologies to create a brighter tomorrow. She serves on several boards including IREC and ASES and has authored over forty publications in her twenty-five year career.

Vice President, Member Relations

Jamie is a dynamic membership leader with 11+ years in strategic growth and engagement for nonprofits. Her passion for creating win-win outcomes for members is what drives her. Prior to AESP, Jamie worked as the Director of Membership and Corporate Development for Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance.

Vice President, Programs and Education

Jenny brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as Vice President of Programs and Education. With a keen eye for detail and operational success, Jenny is a true asset to the organization. Jenny is a certified PMP with extensive educational portfolio management experience.

Ian loves the challenge of conveying complex ideas to the masses. For over a decade, Ian has championed these ideas, contributing to over fifty clean energy publications. At AESP, he leads our communication efforts including Demand Flexibility Day, AESP’s brand development, and AESP’s State of Demand Flexibility Report.

Director, Information Systems

Kelly ensures that all systems are operational at AESP. She is a skilled IT professional experienced in program and cloud management as well as technical program implementations. She is our go-to professional for our association management systems and member data management.

Executive Affairs Coordinator

Nicole helps Jen with day-to-day administrative tasks that keep our association running smoothly. She manages our CEO’s travel, calendar, and helps in the management of our Board of Directors.

Jennifer Lee, MBA

Senior Program Manager

Jennifer leads the development and management of AESP Chapters, many of AESP’s special programs, and our committees. She helps members sharpen their technical and soft skills through groups like Topic Committees and our Joule Mentorship Program. You can often find her at conferences leading our Emerging Professionals Group and helping create fantastic experiences for scholarship winners.

Training Manager

Lauren brings over ten years of experience in education and all the accompanying expertise that a curriculum leader possesses. As our training manager, she leads the development of live and self-paced learning through the AESP Academy and leads much of our workforce development grant work.

Manager, Membership

Christina’s joy for helping others is what members love about her most. As part of our membership team, she assists members with inquiries, account management, points, and more. You can frequently see her at our in-person events at the registration desk in her element – helping our members.

Communications Coordinator

Samantha executes the storytelling and brand positioning of AESP and its industry services. She’s an adept project manager and communicator. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication and a Minor in Business Management from the University of West Georgia.

IT Operations Specialist

Raza helps us keep our business running. He can be found deep in automation workflows, code, integrations, and all the technical intricacies it takes to run a modern business. Raza has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Technology Administration from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

Sr. Program and Education Coordinator

Melanie leads the day to day coordination of AESP webinars in addition to assisting other members of the programs team with product and program execution. Melanie can often be found assisting speakers and moderators at AESP events.
